GLYNN, Carol Sue “Susie” (Milliman) of Swartz Creek, MI, age 76, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek, Fr. Lewis Ekka celebrant with burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 25 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, Susie will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. In lieu of flower’s, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Newsboys of Flint in Susie’s memory or Swartz Creek Community Food Bank.

Susie was born in Flint, MI on November 24, 1948, daughter of the late Roy and Cecelia (Loiselle) Milliman. She was a graduate of Holy Rosary Catholic High School- Flint class of 1966. She was a member of St.Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Susie married Peter Glynn on April 6,1968 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Flint, MI.

Susie worked for ‘Association for Child Development’ for several years and had a ‘Home Day Care’ for ten years. In 2009 she was employed at Diplomat Pharmacy until 2012. Susie was a member of the Parish “Catholic Women’s Ministry, worked at Funeral dinners and was a “Greeter” at Masses. She was a ‘Den Mother’ for her son’s Cub scout pack and was a leader with the Brownies and Girl Scouts, loved traveling, going out to lunch with her sisters, shopping and spending time with her family. Susie is survived by her son, Christopher (Tracey) and daughter, Jennifer Glynn; very dear friends and lunch companions from High School; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter; sisters, Sandra Hamilton, JoAnn Ellis and Barbara Lince; and brother Harold Milliman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
