SPITZER WYNIMKO, Sheryl Lynn - Age 59, of Flint, passed away on the evening of Friday, June 2, 2023 at home with her family by her side. A funeral service will take place 2 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Logan Spitzer will preside. The family will receive visitors from 1 PM until the time of service Thursday. Those desiring may direct contributions to the family.
Sheryl was born on August 28, 1963 in Ocala, Florida the daughter of Warren Sr. and Lyla (Carlson) Buys. She graduated from Fenton High School. Sheryl worked many positions from greenhouses to hospitals. She was a kind and compassionate woman who loved gardening, mystery and adventure and being in the sun. Sheryl loved her two cats, Saia and Gidget.
She is survived by her daughters, Logan Spitzer and her husband, Thomas Gere and Majesta Roope; grandchildren, Marley Spitzer and Odin Paschket; sisters, Lyla (Dale) Mann and Arleen Wood; best friend, Joseph Iobbi; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
