Rolley L. Pugh
Age 65 of Flint passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at McLaren Hospital-Flint.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 22, 2022, at Nelson-House Funeral with Pastor McKinnies officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, August 21, 2022, from 4 pm until 8 pm. In honor of Rolley Pugh, please wear your favorite U of M Gear.
Rolley was born July 28, 1957, in Flint, the son of Norbert Pugh Sr., Helen (Brado) Arnold, and Shirley Smith.
He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in the class of "1975".
Rolley enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going to the casino, and softball. He looked forward to spending time with his daughter and granddaughter going shopping or to the movies. Rolley had a love for sports, especially the Tigers, Lions, and U of M. He cherished anytime he was able to be at his nieces and nephew's sporting events.
Rolley retired from Genesee County Water Dept in 2007.
Rolley is survived by his granddaughter, Kaylie C. Pugh; sisters, Tammy (Joseph) Hodack, Janet (Brad) Dahl, Kathleen (Scott) Adair, Jennifer (Thomas) Newell, Sara (William) Droptiny, and Debra Short; brothers, Norbert (Liane) Pugh Jr, Michael (Linda) Pugh, Norman Pugh, Bryan Pugh, Robert (Tracey) Pugh, Christopher (Tara) Pugh; many nieces nephews and loved ones.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Heather M. Pugh; mother, Helen M. Arnold; father, Norbert Harley Pugh Sr.; mother, Shirley M. Smith; brother-in-law, Donnie Short; Sister, Sherry L. Pugh, and Julie A. Pugh; niece, Tiffany L. Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
