Spangler, Shirley Elaine - Age 97, of Cheboygan, Mi., passed away February 27, 2022 at her home. Cremation has taken place. To honor Shirley a memorial service will be held in late spring or early summer. Shirley was born June 11, 1924 in Flint. She was a retiree of A.C. Spark Plug in Flint. Shirley and her husband Ed traveled the United States for 20 years as part of the Holiday Rambler Motor Home Club after they retired and before settling down in Cheboygan. She loved to go for rides with her husband in their convertible. She enjoyed bowling, and forever painting her ceramics. Spending time with family was always a blessing for her. Shirley is survived by her husband, Edward Spangler; son, Robert (Karen) Simpson; stepdaughters, Debbie Bowles, Gaye (Gary) Slavik, Susan (Christoph) Bieniarz; stepson, Mike Spangler; son-in-law, Bob Jones; 18 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Paul, John, and Rick Simpson; daughter, Sherry (Simpson) Jones; grandson, Jason Simpson.
