McDONALD, James Sherman - Of Flint, age 81, died Tuesday, February 25, 2014.
Memorial visitation will be held 3-8pm Friday, February 28, 2014
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Reverence Hospice.
James was born in England, Arkansas on December 20, 1932. He married Patricia Thompson on December 21, 1957 and she preceded him in death on June 23, 2007. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. James worked at General Motors as a Skilled Tradesman
Surviving are 4 children, Rebecca S. and husband Richard Sorensen of Bloomfield Hills, Cynthia M. and husband John Divito of Parish, Florida, James Matthew and wife Susan of Scarborough, Maine, Douglas R. and wife Jennifer of Swartz Creek;
7 grandchildren, Claire, Dana, Nathaniel, Garrett, Madeline, Ava and Max;
Thanks to the staff at Waltonwood at Twelve Oaks in Novi, MI and Reverence Hospice.
