Wolfe, Shirley Maxine of Flushing, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2025. She was 100 years old and still as beautiful as ever. Per her wishes, no services will be held. If desired, a memorial contribution may be made in her name to the Flushing Presbyterian Church or the Flushing Historical Society.
Shirley was born in Clio, Michigan on June 13, 1925, the daughter of Harvey and Buelah (Pettit) Andrews. She married William D. Wolfe on March 23, 1945, in Flint. Shirley was a member of the Flushing Presbyterian Church. She volunteered at Hurley Hospital for many years. Shirley loved bowling and golfing and was a member of Flushing Valley Country Club. She enjoyed the company of family and close friends. Her and her husband, Bill, were snowbirds for many years and enjoyed winters in Florida. Shirley was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and recently became a great-grandmother.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Billy, Jim and wife Traci; daughter, Sara and husband Sonny; grandchildren, Zachariah, EmmaLeah, William, Owen, Neil; and great-grandson, Daved. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Barbara; and sister, Betty Smith.
Shirley was so loved and will be so missed-we were blessed. |
