Hibbeln, Roberta A. - Age 86, died November 15, 2022. Private interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery with a private family memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Roberta was born May 31, 1936 in DeKalb, IL, the daughter of Tom and Frances Potter. She was a graduate of Flint Technical High School (Class of 1953) and Western Michigan University (Class of 1957). She worked many years as a legal secretary for various Flint law firms. On June 22, 1957 she married Victor J. Hibbeln who preceded her in death after 45 years of marriage. She was very active in her church and enjoyed reading and knitting. Surviving are: four children, Denise Ylitalo and husband Carl of Millington, Mary Peel of Grand Blanc, Kelly Hamacher and husband Warren of Prescott, Troy Hibbeln and wife Kimberly of Gaines; 10 grandchildren, Hunter Ylitalo, Hannah Ylitalo, Johnathon Hamacher, Jessica Hamacher, Brittany Peel, Katie Peel, Holly Peel, Tyler Hibbeln, Nicholas Hibbeln and Courtney Hibbeln; brother, Victor Potter of Raleigh, NC; sister, Margaret Neal of Durand, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor (Jack) Hibbeln; mother, Frances Potter Riebe; father, Tom Potter; grandson, Alex Peel; brothers, Martin Potter and Burt Potter.
