GUILES, Sherry Ann (Smith) – of Clio, MI, age 72, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at McLaren-Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Gary D. Butterfield officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-1 PM Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pomeranian Club of Michigan Rescue, www.paypal.me/MIPomRescue.com, in Sherry’s memory.
Sherry was born in Flint, MI on March 20, 1949 daughter of the late Durell and Mary (Burlson) Smith. She married Eugene Lester Guiles on November 8, 1980. Sherry was a very generous and compassionate wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved animals and was very creative with her crafts.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Eugene Lester Guiles; 3 children, Dave Stanley, Paul (Pam) Guiles and Andrea (Doug) Caister; 7 grandchildren; sister, Sandra (John) Wilson; best friends, Nadine and Bob Smith; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Durell and Mary Smith.
