We lost our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, on December 7th, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Connie was the first one to welcome anyone willing to sit, talk and visit. Her life revolved around the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Breasbois. Connie and Bob were high school sweethearts. In 1968 they started dating and on July 29th of this year they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. From the day they started dating until she passed, they were inseparable. When she was not with Bob, she was with her boys and grandchildren. She loved nothing more than having the garage full of family and friends who were just as close as family.
Connie was born to Kenneth and Virginia (Quaderer) Michael of Merrill, Michigan on February 13, 1953. She leaves behind her Loving husband, Robert “Bob,” sons: Scott (Lisa), Troy (Amanda), and John (Mallory); her grandchildren: Austin (Sam) Coty, Tucker (Bailey) Breasbois, Zackery Breasbois, Allison Breasbois, Brooke Breasbois, Carli Breasbois, Blake Breasbois, Hailey Breasbois, Taylor Breasbois; and three great-grandchildren: Hayden, Liam, and Colson Coty. Her sister, Sue (John) Owen, Rick (Collene) Michael, Ron (Holly) Michael, and Chuck (Tammy) Michael. Many nieces and nephews and all her beloved friends.
She was welcomed into heaven by Kenneth and Virginia (Quaderer) Michael and parents-in-law, Buck and Shirley (Climie) Breasbois, sister-in-law Sandy Spencer, Bonnie Schmuckal, Mary Ellen Andrews, brothers-in-law: Chuck Schmuckal, Lee Andrews and Jack Breasbois, and close family friend Jim Fordos.
The family would like to thank all the friends and family who helped us through this hard time, as well as Promedica Hospice for taking such good care of her.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Patrick Church, 4708 Meridian Road, Merrill. Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Fleming will officiate with burial to take place at St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022, at the St. Patrick Church Hall.
