BROWN, Renee Darlene - Of Flint, age 69, died Friday, February 18, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Visitation 3-8pm Wednesday and 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Brian Oswald officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Renee was born in Flint, Michigan on August 16, 1952, the daughter of Theodore Sr. and Shirley (Rutledge) Weaver. Renee graduated from Southwestern High School, Class of 1970. She attended Glad Tidings Tabernacle for many years. Renee loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed crafts and singing. Renee had a love for music and played several instruments. Renee was a retired beautician. After retirement, she then worked for 14 years for Dr. Sorscher’s office.
Surviving are children, Shawn (Janette) Cole and Andrew (Michelle) Cole;
step-children, Steve Brown and Laura (Brian) Jones;
mother, Shirley Weaver;
grandchildren, Wyatt, Charlotte, Andrew II and Hadley;
step-grandchildren, Emily and Jocelyn;
3 great-grandchildren;
brother, Theodore II (Judy) Weaver;
and nieces, nephews and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Brown and father, Theodore Sr.
