Linda Sue Thompson , age 76, died peacefully on Jan. 15, 2022 at St. Mary' Hospital in Saginaw. She was born Sep. 3, 1945 in Oakland County to Clinton and Olivia (Fenton) Flemington. Linda married John Thompson Nov. 3, 1973 in Flint Mi. where they lived until 1997, when they moved to Sand Lake, Grant Twp. Mi. She worked at the IRS as a taxpayer service representative until starting her own Linda's Tax Service. After retiring She and John began to travel in ernest from the Atlantic to the Pacific, from the Gulf to 90 miles S. of the Arctic Circle. Linda and John were avid corvette enthusiasts belonging to the Flint Corvette Club until her death. She was an avid reader, did ceramics and enjoyed helping others. She will be missed by the many who knew her. Linda is survived by her husband John, daughter Jaynie Lynn (Coggins), Son Ben (Lisa) and grandchildren Bryan, Kristine and Cori and Great grandchildren Emma, Allyson, Lilly, Aubrey and Cole. Burial is delayed until spring when a celebration of life will be held. Donations may be made in her name to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan in keeping with her giving ways.
