BAXTER, Kenneth - Of Gladwin, formerly of Grand Blanc and Holly, age 72, died Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of cremains at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Audubon Society or NORD (National Organization of Rare Disorders).
Kenneth was born in Flint, Michigan on January 30, 1947, the son of the late Ross D. and Martha C. (Boudreau) Baxter. On July 28, 2011, he married Helen Hall on Elk Lake. Kenneth was a Teamster member. He attended St. Rita Catholic Church, Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic Church. Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and birding, especially with family and friends.
Surviving are wife, Helen;
Children, Callie, Angelynn (Michael), Anita (Steven), Andrew (Ashley) and Brian;
Step-children, Rich and Theresa;
Grandchildren, Gregory, Nicholas, Olivia, Drew, Zella, Aurora, Alison, Hunter and Morgan;
Siblings, Dawn, Mary, Dale, Frank, Phillip, David, Rita, Geri, Thom, Susie, and Cecelia;
And many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ross D. Baxter, Martha Celestine, and brother, Paul R. Baxter.
