Guy Thomas Lore, age 76, died unexpectedly March 10, 2022. He was born March 1, 1946, in Bay City Michigan, to Raymond and Lillian Lore.
Guy graduated from T.L. Handy High School, class of 1964. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army, 173rd Airborne attached to the 82nd Airborne, during Vietnam. He married the love of his life and mother of his four children, Irina Banas. He retired as a supervisor from General Motors and later Nippondenso Manufacturing of Battle Creek, Michigan. Guy was an avid golfer, a University of Michigan fan, and had a great love of boating and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Linda Lore. Surviving are his daughters, Keeley Lore and Kimberly Lore-Dukarski; sons, Guy (Kris) Lore Jr. and Jonathon Lore; nine grandchildren, Michael Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Mackenzie Bruce, Marcus Bruce, John(Ronnie) Dukarski- French, Katie Lore, Alex Lore, Kelly Lore, and Brianna Lore; one great-grandchild, Raelyn Lore; two brothers, John S. Lore and his wife Judy, of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Raymond Lore; two sisters, Carol Klosowski and her husband, Marion, and Irene Holcomb and her husband Harold Holcomb; many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Hyatt Ewald Funeral Home, 700 N. Monroe St., Bay City, Michigan 48708. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 am – 12 pm, followed by a Time of Sharing from 12 pm-1 pm, and a luncheon at 1:15 pm.
