Timothy Steven Candela, “T.C.” passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 47yrs.
He was born on January 4th, 1976, to Steve Candela and Sharon Edgley. He grew up in Davison and after graduating high school Tim started in the construction industry. He moved on to car sales at Hank Graff Chevrolet and then transitioned to working in the landscape and lawncare industry where he finished his career. On August 18, 2001, Tim married the love of his life, Christy Dice. Their union was filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Tim was a devoted husband, and his marriage to Christy was a source of strength and joy throughout his life. They went on many adventures and built a beautiful life that they shared with their two children; Cole and Avery. Tim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed many trips hunting and fishing with friends, family and most importantly his son Cole. He also loved to watch his daughter Avery play sports and supported her on the sidelines with words of encouragement every chance he had. He loved all sports, especially college football with his favorite team being the Michigan Wolverines – GO BLUE!
Tim had a larger-than-life personality and made friends wherever he would go and never met a stranger. He always managed to find the good in everyone and connect on some level. Those of us who are left behind will always have a special place in our hearts for him and remember the positive impact he made on so many.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Christy, and their children, Cole and Avery; his parents; sister, Jen and many other beloved family members. He was a proud and loving father who cherished his role and embraced every moment spent with his children. Tim's love for his family knew no bounds, and his memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor and celebrate Tim's life 11AM Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Davison Free Methodist Church, 502 Church St., Davison, MI 48423, Pastor David Weir officiating. The family will receive visitors from 2-7PM Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison MI 48423 and one hour prior to the service at the church. Cremation has taken place in accordance with his wishes.
In remembrance of Tim, memorial contributions may be made to the family, offering support and assistance during this difficult time.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love, support and prayers during Tim’s hard-fought battle.
