DEVINE, Norma E. of Flushing, age 90, died January 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by family. A memorial service will take place on February 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Montrose Family Worship Center 9453 Vienna Rd. Montrose, Michigan 48457, where memorial contributions can be made to the memorial fund.
Norma was born on January 22, 1929 in Flint to Frank and Florence (Ruge) Bachmann. She married her forever love, Thomas Devine, on January 22, 1949. They celebrated 70 years of marriage before he died, May 2019. In true love fashion, Norma reunited with Thomas to celebrate their 71st anniversary, together. They provided a great example of hard work, unconditional love and companionship.
Norma retired from GM parts division after more than 20 years of service. She enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, events with I.O.F., traveling, camping at River Valley, going to the casinos and trying her luck on her favorite scratch off tickets. Norma especially enjoyed her family and friends. Though her presence is missed here on earth, we celebrate her reunion in heaven with her forever love.
Norma is survived by her children, Thomas (Donna) Devine, Barbara (Larry) Williams, and Ronald (Lori) Devine; grandchildren, Jenny Devine, Thomas Williams, Debra (Brian) Heins, Ronald (Heather) Devine Jr., Jessica (Jeff) Newbold, and Justin (Krista) Oskey; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Collin, Kaitlin, Cameron, Lindsey, Anna, and Benjamin; and special nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her forever love, Thomas; sister, Pearl; and parents.
