Frank was born on November 6, 1937, to parents Frank and Edith (Clute) Dagostino in Flint, MI. A 1956 Flint Central High School graduate, he was a top-ranked golfer and an award-winning Clarinet soloist in the Concert Band and Flint All-City Band.
While stationed in Germany in the Army, he met Francesca Paola Palmeri, and they married in Palermo on April 21, 1960, and returned to Germany. After his honorable discharge from the Army, they returned to Flint, where he attended GMI and was in the Co-Op program. He then worked as a Project Engineer for GM, retiring in 1992. Frank was also an avid golfer, playing in multiple leagues for years. He also loved to play cards - particularly bridge, euchre, and cribbage.
After retiring, Frank worked as a statistician for Christina's sports teams and did minor home renovations. He also took a contract job.
