WILLETTE, Daniel Eugene – Of Grand Blanc, formerly of Millington, age 70, died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical
Center in Saginaw.
Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Private family ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Daniel was born in Flint, Michigan on November 6, 1949, the son of Roy and Erma (Shock) Willette.
He was Vietnam Army Medic from 1969 -1970.
He was a supporter and member of the American Legion-Grand Blanc.
Daniel worked as an RN at Saginaw VA and U of M Ann Arbor and also worked as a visiting nurse.
He enjoyed fishing and horse races.
He was a devoted father and grandfather.
Surviving are children, Paul (Amy) Willette and Lisa Williams;
grandchildren, Torrance and Ransom Willette,
Brooke and Reagan Williams;
brothers, Roy Richard (Anna) and Charles (Nancy) Willette.
