DENAM, Ruby Jean - age 89 of Grand Blanc went to be with her Lord Sunday, December 25, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living surrounded by her children.
Ruby was born October 16, 1933 in Colorado the daughter of Amy and Don Delduca.
She worked for 33 years as an Administrative Assistant at Buick City and was an active member of the Industrial Business Girls Association where she was led to modeling by her natural beauty.
Ruby was a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years and loved to share her faith and scriptures with those around her.
Ruby was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, painting, baking and spent time creating cookbooks for each of the family members to cherish.
Ruby was blessed with a large and loving family. Surviving are her children: William Denam, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Kathryn Brundle (Bob) and Robert Denam both of Grand Blanc, Jeri Lynn Scrimger (Mike) of Coopersville; Grandchildren, Robert Sophiea (Blaire), Sarah Harchick (Steve), Jennifer Mlynarek (Kevin), Amy Jeppsen (Matthew), William Denam II (Gloria), Leah MacKrell (James) Robert Denam, Jr (Janelle), Raymond Denam (Brittany) and 19 Great-Grandchildren; brother, Donald Delduca (Ella), and several nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, William Denam in 2019, sister Maxine and brothers Merlin and Harold.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Rd, Flint, MI. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 30, 2022 Pastor Josh Michalek will officiate.
Luncheon to follow at the Flint Elks Lodge 222, 7177 E. Maple Ave., Grand Blanc.
Ruby will be buried with her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Date to be announced.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society of Genesee County or VFW Post 822 in her memory. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living for the loving care they provided Ruby during her stay.
