CLARK, Bernal Jr. – of Clio, age 73, died peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Cranberry Park of Clio. Honoring Bernal’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held 2PM Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Clio VFW Hall – 10380 N. Saginaw Rd., in Clio. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Cranberry Park of Clio to assist with patient furnishings.
Bernal was born February 3, 1950, in Flint, to the late Bernal and Arlene (Case) Clark, Sr. He graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1968 and received his associate degree at Ferris State University. Bernal had a passion for fixing cars and was the proud owner of Clark’s Auto Repair in Clio from 1977 until 1992. In his spare time, he enjoyed going hunting and spending time with his family. Bernal was a good man who always offered a helping hand to those in need and kept a smile on his face. He will be truly missed.
Bernal is forever remembered by his son, Bernal H. Clark, III; Grandchildren: Devon Townsend and Zoe Clark; Brother, Ronald (Linda) Clark; Bonnie (Earl) Mackenzie; Nephews: Nathan and Trapper Standish; Several extended family members. Bernal was preceded in death by his parents, Bernal Sr. and Arlene.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Kim Snyder, a dear friend who shared a special bond with Bernal. Her friendship brought immeasurable joy and comfort to Bernal, and for that, the family is truly grateful. The family also want to acknowledge the many other friends who stood by Bernal throughout his life. Your friendship was a source of strength and happiness for him. We are profoundly thankful for you all. |
