Gagnon, Eileen of Flushing, age 81, died Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Courtyard Manor in Swartz Creek. Private funeral services will be held.
Eileen was born in Flint, Michigan on May 12, 1940, the daughter of George and Mary (Marazik) Beardslee. She married Eldon Gagnon at Central Methodist Church in Flint on July 22, 1961, and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Eileen graduated from Swartz Creek High School, Class of 1958. She worked for the Genesee County Drain Commission for over 30 years. Eileen loved to get her hands in the dirt and was an avid flower gardener. She also enjoyed sewing and reading, but will be most remembered for her generous heart.
Eileen is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Eldon; loving daughters, Kim Gagnon and Cindy Gagnon; sisters, Margaret and husband Tom Serwell, Marlene Becker; and niece, Tina Becker.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jackie and her caring and compassionate staff at Courtyard Manor and to Mid-Michigan Hospice for their loving care. |
