Age, 77, of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. A Celebration of Life will take place at 12:00pm on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services, 1194 E. Mt. Morris Rd. Mt. Morris, Michigan, with cremation to follow. Kenneth's family will be present to receive friends and family at the funeral home on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 3:00pm until 7:00pm and on Saturday morning from 11:00am to the time of service at 12:00pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Kenneth was born on April 6, 1948, in Alpena, Michigan, to Frank and Alice (Cooke) Tingley. He was married in 1970, in Flint, Michigan, to the love of his life, Nancy, beginning a lifelong partnership that remained central to his life. He spent 36 years working at Buick City as a line worker, where he was known for his commitment and strong work ethic, before retiring in 2002. Outside of work, Kenneth enjoyed many hobbies that reflected his love of both creativity and the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, hunting, bowling, camping, and creating diamond arts and models. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family, creating memories that will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his daughter, Tina (Mark) Randall; his son, Al (Rhonda) Tingley; his former daughter-in-law, Paula Bush; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many cherished family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Tingley, and his three brothers, Richard, Darryl, and Philip.
Kenneth will be remembered for his steady presence, his dedication to providing for his family, and his enjoyment of life’s quiet moments. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. |
