Tina Marie Hunt, age 62, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away surrounded by her loving family on February 26, 2026.
Born on September 8, 1963, Tina was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, and aunt whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. Tina’s greatest joys were her family and friends. She loved hosting holidays and lively game nights in her beautiful home, creating spaces where loved ones felt welcomed and cherished. A deeply creative spirit, she expressed her love through scrapbooking and crafting thoughtful handmade gifts that will be forever treasured. As a caring daughter, she loved taking her mom on shopping trips and spending that special time together. Tina also enjoyed camping and taking road trips with her beloved husband in their camper trailer, making countless happy memories along the way. She especially cherished the simple days at home, enjoying the comfort of being with her husband and their beloved dog, Lily.
She dedicated 20 years of service to the Social Security Administration in Flint, Michigan, retiring in 2024. Tina took great pride in her work and in the many relationships she built throughout her career.
Those who knew Tina describe her as the loveliest person on earth, with a true heart of gold. She was strong, resilient, and fiercely loyal — a steady and loving presence in the lives of so many.
Tina is survived by her mother, Rose Parr; her devoted husband, Mark; her son, Brian (Claire); her father-in-law, Bruce Hunt; her sister-in-law, Staci Hunt Crane (Fred Gulick); her nephews, Andrew Crane (Nikki and son, Theo), and Nick Crane; and many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Neil Parr, and her mother-in-law, Patsy “Pat” Hunt.
Tina will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Dr. Max B. Hayden will officiate.
