RYDER, Jordan Douglas, beloved son, brother, friend, father, and husband to be, passed away surrounded by his favorite people after a 23 day fight at Henry Ford Hospital on April 25, 2022 in Detroit.
A memorial service will be held 3pm Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Deacon Ron Kenney officiating.
Visitation 2-7pm Thursday and 12pm Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home at 3pm.
Cremation has taken place.

Jordan was born in 1992 at Hurley in Flint, Michigan. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 2010 and was a proud Eagle Scout. He continued on to become part owner of Greenway Lawncare, something he was so proud of. In 2019, Jordan met his fiancé, Elizabeth Snyder and her daughter, Izzy. They were engaged to be married in September, 2022. Jordan loved being outside, camping, fishing, gardening, Ohio State football, and watching the news. He lit up every room he walked into with his funny and kind personality, and he made everyone feel welcome. Above all, he was loyal. If he loved you, he made sure you knew it. You never had to wonder. Without Jordan, life seems dimmer, but the impact he left on those he loved makes the world bright.
Surviving Jordan are his fiance, Elizabeth Snyder and daughter Izzy; parents, Roger and Amy Ryder; Grandmother, Karin Ryder; sister, Bethany Ryder; sister, Morgan Gerard and her husband, Jordan Gerard; his two cats, Rain and Oreo, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
Jordan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Ryder and grandmother Mary Lou Altvater.
