Guest, John W. – of Mt. Morris, formerly of Davison, age 59, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his residence. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 11AM until 3PM at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in honor of grandson Eliot’s education.
John was born June 15, 1963, in Flint, Michigan, to the late George and Nancy (Mantei) Guest. He worked for Grand Blanc Cement Products for 24 years, retiring in 2020. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors in nature. His whole world revolved around his family and spending time with them, especially his grandson Eliot. John liked going for rides on the side by side with his significant other Sherry and their dogs. More than anything he was an amazing dad, grandpa, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by many.
Surviving are: Significant other, Sherry Soper; Daughter, Katie (Erik) Eriksen; Grandson, Eliot Finley; Brothers: Mike (Pam) Guest, and George Guest; Sister, Theresa (Tom) Moody; Several nieces and nephews.
