Joe (SuperSize) was born in Flint, Aug 12, 1953, the son of Eugene and Rosemary (Kubenic) Miron.
Joe served his country proudly in the Army during Vietnam Era and worked 105th Finance in Germany. Years later he obtained his builders license and worked as a framer and finish carpenter for many years. He became interested in Emergency Medical Services while working at Delphi and then served for Swartz Ambulance where he picked up the nickname “SuperSize", which has followed him many years past retirement. He would say because of my SuperSize heart. He met his wife Dalette working in the Emergency Department before he became an instructor for Genesys in EMS Education. He loved teaching and spoke fondly of his students, coworkers and lifelong relationships he made during his years in EMS.
Joe was a people person; A man of strong faith, humor, dedication, commitment and integrity. Always the light in the room. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed his time making memories with them.
Surviving are wife, Dalette. Children Melina (Matt) Guzeit, Christopher (Sydney) Miron (their mother Karen Curry), Emily Lakey, Joshua (Gina) Rathbun, Jacob (Caroline) Rathbun. 8 Grandchildren; Allison, Jacee, Joshua, Nathaniel, Twins-Carter and Landon, Noah, Charlotte and Great-Grandson Easton. Siblings; sisters Debra (Clifford) Balcer and Sherryl Smith, Sister-In-Law Romona Miron, sister Babette (Michael) Levy and brother Ronald (Becky) Miron. There are many extremely special nieces and nephews he loved and enjoyed his time with so much. His influence and “go-to Uncle Joe” advice will be greatly missed.
Joe was proceeded in death by his parents Eugene and Rosemary Miron, brother Robert Miron and son Jonathan Miron.
Joe loved to bring a smile to peoples face and help them live in financial freedom. In lieu of flowers, please consider a legacy gift in Joe's name to, Good Justice, a mission that Joe supported, as they continue to bring smiles to children and families in Hondouras and Malawi.
