VALDEZ, Victor Gregory - Age 68, of Flushing, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at his residence. Memorial gathering will take place from 1-5 PM, Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family.
Victor was born on November 22, 1954 in Flint the son of the late Roy and Lillian (Barlow) Valdez. He graduated from Kearsley High School. Victor worked for GM Truck and Bus for 16 years. He and Loriann Betz were united in marriage on November 2, 1984 in Traverse City. Victor was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He loved spending his time with his family. Victor enjoyed the outdoors spending time landscaping and gardening, traveling up north to Luddington and Port Austin, riding his Gold Wing, and he loved listening to music and watching classic TV Shows. He will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Loriann Valdez; son, Zachary M (Crystal) Valdez; daughter, Jessica L. (Michael) Valdez; grandchildren, Lucas. Preston, Zoey and Franklin; sisters, Lillian (John) Garcia, Matilda Johnson, Angie (Robert) Ramirez, Shelly (Brian) Fisher; sister's-in-law; Diane Valdez and Cynthia Valdez; nephews, Jeremy and Tim; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his special dog and furry companion, Rubie.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents; son, Shane Valdez; and brothers, Roy and Timothy Valdez. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
