FRANKLIN, Gary- of Millington, age 82, died Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in Mayville, Michigan. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
Gary was born February 21, 1940, in West Branch, Michigan, to the late Benjamin Franklin and Myrtle (Schmidt) Franklin. On December 29, 1986, Gary married Patricia Franklin, and together they shared 35 wonderful years of marriage. He worked for General Motors for over 30 years where he also retired. He was very involved for many years with Gordon Setter and enjoyed spending time with the dogs. Gary was an amazing husband, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Gary is forever loved by his wife, Patricia; Children: Gary and Brett Franklin; Siblings: Monte (Gloria) Franklin, Lisa (Jeff) Mitchell, and Kelly Franklin; Sister-in-law: Pam R.; Brothers-in-law: Don (Betty), Mike (Debby), and Bernadete. Gary was preceded in death by his son, Kirt Franklin; Sister, Gloria Franklin; Brother-in-law: Tom. |
