Terry Lee Brimmer of Vassar, Michigan, age 74, passed away peacefully at Ascension St. Mary’s, Saginaw, Michigan, Saturday, August 12, 2023.
Terry was born June 6, 1949 in Ada, Michigan. He graduated from Flint Northwestern High school in 1967. After 30 plus years of service, he retired a Tinsmith from General Motors.
Terry was a sports enthusiast and collector with a large baseball card collection. He also enjoyed spending time car cruising in his Mustang with his girlfriend, Deb, and participating in a variety of car shows throughout Michigan. His love of travel recently led them on a 29 state journey.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Deb Kern, and family. His children, Niki Boka, Mark (Andrea) Brimmer, CJ (Shannon) Brimmer. Grandchildren, Bryan Boka, Emily (Zech) Kosa, Alison (Jacob) Connolly, Samantha Brimmer, Peyton Brimmer, and Nora Brimmer. Great-grandchild,Cooper. Brothers and sisters, Rich, Steve, Greg, Sue, Marcy, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lois Traxler; father, Lawrence Brimmer; and brother, James Griswold.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
The family invites you to join them for a memorial service on Sunday, August 20th, 2023, at Journey Ministries, 102 South Main St, Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will be held from 3-4 pm. The Memorial service will begin at 4 pm, officiated by his lifelong friend, Al Jones, with dinner immediately following.
