DIBEAN, Tawnya M. - Of Burton, age 55, passed peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 1, 2021 at her residence.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday, March 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brittany Davidson to put towards a Trust Fund for her grandchildren.
Tawnya was born in Flint, Michigan on September 22, 1965, the daughter of Gary and Patricia (Blouin) Dibean. She worked many years as a cashier for Wal-Mart and Speedway. Tawnya’s purpose in life was to be a mother. She was always taking care of everyone else. She had the strongest bonds with her grandchildren and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. Tawnya was quiet but she had a great sense of humor. She could answer any trivia question thrown at her and she enjoyed her game shows, magazines and crossword puzzles. She also loved watching Disney movies, baby Yoda and Eeyore. Tawnya will be dearly missed by her entire family.
Surviving are children, Jeremy Davidson and Brittany (Cody Hellebuyck) Davidson;
grandchildren, Noah Wilson, Ayva Thomas and Leyana Thomas, Destani and Abigail Hellebuyck;
father, Gary Dibean;
siblings, Kelly Lendman and Jennie (Jim) Brewer;
nieces and nephew, Jessica Flynn, John Moody, Tricia Moody and Sydney (Brewer) Dibean;
several special great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia E. Dibean.
