KATEMAN, Howard Joseph – Of Fenton, age 93, flew with the angels on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Symphony Assisted Living Facility.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
Contributions may be made to Residential Hospice of Troy, Michigan or Adopt-a-Pet, Fenton, MI.
Howard was born in Flint, Michigan on September 1, 1928, the son of
the late Joseph and Leta (Rice) Kateman, the oldest of three brothers, who all preceded him in death.
After graduating from Northern High School he joined the U.S. Coast Guard, where he served for 3 years.
He was employed by AC Spark Plug Division 2962 Tool Room until his retirement in 1987.
Howard is survived by his wife, Lillian (Mikovits) Kateman; they were married in December, 1966 and had been married for 56 years;
2 step-daughters, Paula and Jacalyn Blandford.
