Nancy A. Hunter, age 85, of Holly, died Tues. Nov. 9, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sat. Nov. 13, 2021 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be from 2-9 PM Fri. Mrs. Hunter was born in Owosso on July 20, 1936 to Lester and Mildred (Spitler) Sworthwood. She was retired from 1st Federal Savings and Loan, was a member of the Holly Moose Lodge, a youth bowling coach, a 60 year member of the Thursday Card Club, and a member of the Holly Park Commission. She loved to play cards, watch deer, and be with her friends and family. Surviving are her daughter Jeri Lynn (Ken) LeGendre, son Jeff (Joan) Hunter, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jerry Hunter, her parents, sisters Lucille Benford and Norma Valliant, and brother Dale Sworthwood. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
