WEEKS, Leon J. “Lee” – of Clio, age 81, died on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are being held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint.
Lee was born on October 2, 1938 in Mt. Morris, Michigan to the late Frank and Ethel (Rhodes) Weeks. He married Kay Thomas on December 10, 1988. Lee retired from Buick in 1998 after 34 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #659. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and softball. Lee was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a great friend and loved helping others anyway he could.
Surviving are: Wife, Kay Weeks; Son, David (Diane) Weeks; Daughter, Barrie Weeks-Holey; Stepdaughter, Lisa Thomas; Stepsons: Scott Thomas, and Brian Thomas; Grandaughters: Brittany Weeks, and Elizabeth Patrick; Grandsons: Tylor Long, Scott Thomas, and Dylan Holt; Several great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Beth Slieff; sister in law, Rita Francisco; Special friends: Herbert Sly, and Ruth Tolliver; Many nices, nephews other loving family members and dear friends.
