CLARK, Wayne Leon – of Montrose, age 88, died Saturday, November 29, 2025 at his residence. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 4, 2025 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose, Michigan. Rev. Carol J. Freeland officiating. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to McLaren Hospice.
Wayne was born December 24, 1936 in Flint, Michigan to the late Harry and Hilda (Fry) Clark. He grew up in Montrose and graduated from Montrose High School with the class of 1954. On August 20, 1955 he married Marie Hays in Montrose, Michigan and she preceded him in death in 2004. Prior to his retirement in 1994, Wayne was a Supervisor at the Coldwater Road Plant with 40 years of service. Wayne was an avid golfer and played in the Hummer Open Golf Tournament for 26 years. He loved to fish, hunt and travel to Florida with Sharon. However, his greatest joy in life was his family.
Surviving are: Daughter, Brenda Zamora; Significant Other, Sharon Enos; Daughter in law,, Laura Clark; 6 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Charles Cohee; Special Friend of 75 years, Theodore Thomas. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Wife, Marie Clark; Sons, Jack Clark, Jeffrey Clark, Michael Clark; Son in law, Timothy Zamora; Siblings, Jerry (Jeanette) Clark, Barbara Biggs.
