ELLIOTT, James – Of Durand, age 78, died Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Oliver Woods Assisted Living in Owosso.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
James was born in Sandy Hook, Kentucky on April 9, 1943, the son of the late James and Dorothy Elliott.
On June 25, 1966 he married Teresa Miller.
He was a University of Kentucky basketball fanatic.
Surviving are wife, Teresa;
3 children, April (Doug) Watts, Jim (Hope) Elliott and Monica (Dean Clark;
4 grandchildren, Meagan (Devin) Looney, Zachary Watts, Austin Palazzolo and Jared Clark;
step-granddaughter, Cassie Glover;
one great-granddaughter Lola Clark;
3 sisters, Jean Horn, Susie (Doug) Niswonger and Shirley Lewis;
many nieces and nephews.
