BERGERON, Lonnie J. - Of Burton, age 59, died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Providence Park-Novi.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Matthew Kephart officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8pm Sunday and 1-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Lonnie was born in Flint on January 25, 1956, the son of the late Paul A. and V. Arelene (McKie) Bergeron. On October 9, 1976, he married Polly D. Brown at St. Leo’s in Flint. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Lonnie loved helping people. He worked hard and played hard. He retired from Hurley Medical center and was currently employed by Genesee County.
Surviving are wife, Polly;
sons, Eric (Brandi), Kyle (Mandy);
daughter, Stacey (Justin);
grandchildren, Blain, Zaine and Chayton;
brothers and sisters, Randy, Paulette Spall, Daryl (Sue), Deena (Don) King, Barry (Carol), Brenda (Keith) Wagner and Heidi (Brian) Vanderkarr;
also survived by many nieces and nephews;
sisters and brothers-in-law, Paul (Gail) Brown, Danny (Kim) Brown, Gary Brown, Larry (Joel) Brown, Darcey Grenier and Kevin (Sarah) Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
