VERDIER, John William - 81, of Flint, passed away March 10, 2021. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
He was born October 19, 1939 in Flint, the son of Faye L. and Juliette C. (Bigra) Verdier. He retired from the United States Navy. He married Monica Scott on November 13, 2003 in Flint. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, watching television, and computers.
He is survived by wife, Monica; six children, Shantele Murdock, Shante' Murdock, Deon Stewart, Jr., Deondre' Stewart, Shardae Scott, and Donny Scott; several grandchildren; brother, David Verdier; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; long time friend, Betty Cook.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Faye Verdier, Jerome R. Verdier, James R. Verdier and MacArthur Verdier.
