SALAY, Paul E. – of Davison, age 86, passed away September 4, 2019 at Wellbridge of Fenton. A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Monday, September 9, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 and 5-8 PM Sunday and 11 AM until time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greater Flint Youth Bowling.
Paul was born in Flint, MI on January 30, 1933, son of the late Paul A. and Alice E. (Barrow) Salay. He married Lorine Maeder on September 21, 1958 and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2012. Paul was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He owned and operated Salay Meats.
Paul is survived by his children, Paul M. Salay and Linda (Daniel) McCaughna; grandchildren, Ryan (Chelsea) McCaughna and Kaitlyn. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael on March 7, 2019.The family would like to extend a special thank you to Wellbridge of Fenton and Ascension Hospice.
