Kapture, Suzzanne Marie- Age 78, of Swartz Creek passed away November 16, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Chaplain Hank Messing will officiate. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Monday, November 22 at the funeral home. In remembrance of Suzzanne’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Suzzanne was born May 22, 1943 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Charlie Brown and Bernadine Hunt. Suzzanne married Larry Kapture on July 20, 1968. She graduated from St. Agnes Catholic High School (1962) in Flint. She retired from the Holiday Inn on Hill Road after having worked in the housekeeping department. Suzzanne had an outgoing personality and always made friends wherever she went. She loved going out to eat, shopping, doing word search puzzles and going to visit her friends at the Meijer and McDonalds on Hill Road. She was devoted to her family and especially loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandsons.
She is survived by her husband Larry; daughter’s, Kimberlee (Brian) Kapture-Mantei, Becky (Mark) Mantei, and Heather (Scott) Hunt; grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Mantei, Darien Kapture, Ashley Mantei, Arin Cord, Nevaeh Hunt and Kayleigh Hunt; great-grandsons, Austin Mantei and Knox Mayhew; brother, Ray (Sandy) Hunt.
Suzzanne will join her parents and her sister, Carole Murrany in heaven.
