Rich was a very kind hearted man with a great personality. He had a laugh that was so contagious. As a young man he enjoyed photography and taking flying lessons. Rich was a founding member of the "Bowling Stones", a sport that he enjoyed with his brother-in-law Gary and life long friend Paul "Zig" Branshaw. During his youth, Rich was his dads right hand man and learned life long skills from him including carpentry. This love continued as he enjoyed remodeling homes. He also enjoyed going to the casino, especially loved going fishing and spending time with his kids, grand kids and family. He especially cherished time with his daughter Emily, going to daddy-daughter-dances, cheer leading competitions, volleyball, band concerts and so much more.

Rich wished to be cremated and later buried with Jeannie. A memorial service will take place at a later time.

The family would like to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Family, as they will be donating to Michigan Fisheries.
