LAHAR, Jacqueline B. (Ruddell) - Age 88, of Flushing, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. A funeral service will take place 1 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place from 2 PM to 8 PM Friday and again from 12 PM until the time of service Saturday. Private interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Jacqueline was born on August 16, 1932 in Flint the daughter of Burnell and Olive (Skeleton) Ruddell. She graduated from Flint Northern High School. Jacqueline worked for 28 years at AC Spark Plug before her retirement in 1992. She married DeWayne Lahar on January 4, 1969 in Flushing. Jacqueline was a volunteer at McLaren Hospital. In her free time she enjoyed playing cards at the Carmen Senior Center. She was always happy to be around her family and friends, talking and laughing. She will be greatly missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Dave) Altman, Vickie (Shea) Bradshaw, Bruce Penoyer and Kevin Penoyer; step-children, Denise Stokes, Donna (Brian) Lahar and Deborah Davison; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Bill and Douglas Ruddell.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, DeWayne Lahar; parents, Burnell and Olive Ruddell; sisters, Sally Mather and Sandy Ochnickay. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
