Fredrick W. Roeder, age 76 of Fenton, MI died on August 12, 2024. Fredrick was born in Holly, MI on April 1, 1948 to his parents John and Eila (Hauer) Roeder. He is survived by his wife Carol (Wagle) Roeder, son Fredrick (Jennie) Roeder, daughter Tonya (Matt) Barton, grandchildren; Krystal Caloia, David (Cassie) Garten II, Zachary Roeder and Griffin Roeder, great-grandchildren; Belle Caloia, William Caloia Jr., Garrett Caloia and Theo Garten, siblings; Ronald Roeder, John (Judy) Roeder and Tom (Stella) Roeder. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Tim Roeder and sister, Barbara Roeder. Fredrick met his wife, Carol in high school and they have been together for the last 57 ½ years. He was a committee man for the Local 599 and he honorably served his country in the ARMY during the Vietnam War as a machinist. Fredrick enjoyed woodworking, spending time on the water, and going on long rides to nowhere. He may be best known for his unending sarcasm. Fredrick was a very honorable man with lots of integrity and was an amazing husband and father. He will be missed dearly. A visitation will be held on Friday August 16, 2024 at the Dryer Funeral Home from 2-9PM and on Saturday August 17, 2024 from 11AM-1PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 1PM with Chaplain Marty Shouse officiating. Memorial donations can be made to: Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
