Lindsey Ann Apsey, 35, of Lapeer died tragically on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Lindsey was born September 17, 1986 in Lapeer to Keith and Denise (Cross) Apsey. She graduated from Lapeer West High School, class of 2004. Lindsey loved animals – from frogs to horses she loved all animals. She was known to rescue any stray dog or cat in the neighborhood. Lindsey worked as a dog groomer and on a local horse farm. In her spare time she loved to hunt and fish. Above all, Lindsey loved her daughter and her granddaughter.
Lindsey is survived by her daughter, Chloe McDonald of Lapeer; granddaughter, Sophia Heather Lynn McDonald; parents, Keith & Denise Apsey of Lapeer; grandmother, Elizabeth Cross of Lapeer; aunts and uncles: Pam Cross of Lapeer, Dan (Chris) Cross of Lapeer, Karla Mcinnes of Muskegon, JoAnn & Chuck Vickery of Lapeer and Sally Apsey of Lapeer; special cousin, Joshua (Melissa) Cross of Metamora. Lindsey is also survived by her long term partner, Justin as well as numerous beloved extended family members. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Harold “Jack” Cross, Mary Jane McNally and Richard Apsey
Memorial contributions may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue 111 North Lapeer Road, Lapeer, Michigan 48446 or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Friday, October 15, 2021 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. No formal service will take place at this time – a memorial service will be held sometime in the near future.
