Joseph Lawrence Edgett, age 51, a lifetime resident of Lapeer, passed away on March 11, 2022. He was born on February 23, 1971, in Lapeer, MI. Joseph loved camping in the Upper Peninsula, fishing, trips to the horse tracks, bingo with friends, and spending time with family.
Joseph is survived by his sons Joseph and Ron (Jen); Fiancée Cindy Hayes; sisters Loretta (Scott) Ide, Tammy (Tom) Shimmel, Julie (Eric) Jones, and Jennifer (Alex) Valdes; grandchildren Frederick, Jeremiah (Shawna), Jasmine (Jessica), Ryver, Skylar, Raychel, Jordyn, Armoney, Nyklaus, Ashley (Ryan) Jace, Charles, Lathen (Kelsey), Breanna (Isaac) Landen, Dominic, Jazmin, Drace, Katelyn (Ethan), Donald; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Eva, Saylor. Sileste, Sable, Cheza, Oaklynn; brother Frank (Tammy) Edgett; sisters Loretta (Scott) Ide, Julie (Eric) Jones, and Jennifer (Alex) Valdes; also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Elizabeth; sons Frederick and Donald; sister June, brother Simon, niece Sara; great-granddaughter Elizabeth; nephew Benny.
Friends may visit on Wednesday, March 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel 542 Liberty Park , Lapeer, MI 48446. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Don Phillips will officiate. Memorials to the Edgett family are appreciated. |
