BELL JR., Don – of Lapeer, age 71, passed away December 20, 2018 at McLaren Lapeer Region. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be from 4-8 PM Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
Don was born in Bellevue, TX on December 7, 1947, son of the late Don and Lillian Bell, Sr. He retired as an operating engineer after many years. Following retirement, he “worked” as the Lot Manager at Chapman’s Sports Center. Don was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Don is survived by daughter, Denise Bell; son, Michael Bell; uncle, Harold Reynolds and family; nieces, Autumn, Penny, Stacy and families; nephew, Tracy and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen and his sister, Barb.
