Thomas Marshall Fraser, age 88, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Tranquility Estates. He was born in Detroit and graduated from Mackenzie High School where he was named to the All-Metropolitan Football Team. He continued playing football at Alma College and then at Central Michigan University where he met his wife, Diane, and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He began his career at Michigan Bell and then joined IBM, where he became a Regional Director of Marketing. He loved attending Central Michigan football games in Mount Pleasant and was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan. His favorite pastime was playing golf with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Judith George, son-in-law, Nicholas George, and grandchildren, Caroline, Catherine, and William. He is also survived by his wife’s siblings and their spouses, his nephews and nieces, and godchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Diane, in 2013; his parents, Stanley and Cleo Fraser; brother, Stanley Tyson Fraser; and sister, Barbara Lofgren.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday June 2 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday June 2 at the church. Interment will be at Flushing Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
