Bissonette, Greg J. of Flushing, age 75, died Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Hurley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Rossell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Greg was born on April 30, 1948, in Flint, Michigan. He was a graduate of Ainsworth High School and Ferris State University. He retired from AC Delco/Delphi after more than 35 years of dedicated service. Greg enjoyed traveling, fishing, watching the wildlife on his property, tinkering in his workshops, building custom picture frames, and volunteering at the Genesee County Courthouse. What he loved most, though, was spending time with his family and beloved cat, Rosie.
Greg will be deeply missed by his wife Janette (Duby); daughter and son-in-law Dagny (Bissonette) and Dan Monette; grandson and wife Jacob and Morgan Monette; granddaughter Madison Monette; great-grandchildren Declan and Owen Monette; sister Diane (Bissonette) Martin; brother David Bissonette; and special pet Rosie. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Doris (Foucher) Bissonette and brother William Bissonette. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hurley Medical Center for the excellent commitment and care they showed Greg as he battled congestive heart failure. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shiawassee County Humane Society.
