FRARY, Anna Mary - Age 95, of Swartz Creek , died January 30, 2014 at Gentiva Hospice. Services will be held 1 PM Monday February 3 at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in the Mausoleum. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
Anna was born March 13, 1918 in Eynon, PA, the daughter of Michael and Mary (Bogansky) Ostroski. She was married to Harold E. "Bob" Frary on March 27, 1945 in Flint; he preceded her in death in 1990. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1951 coming from Saginaw and Sterling MI. She had spent winters in Orlando for 20 years. She owned and operated Sterling Hardware in Sterling MI, and Bo and Ann's Hamburger Restaurant in Saginaw. She was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Church. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Surviving are: three children Mary Ann Steele of Grand Blanc, Edna "Edie" Behm of Florida, Robert L. and wife Carol Frary of Durand; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister Helen Rossen of Standish; sister-in-law Phyllis Ostroski on Auburn, MI; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Ronald; brother Cyril; and husband Harold.
