BIESZAK, David E. – Of Otisville, formerly of Ortonville, age 65, died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 surrounded by family at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Honoring David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating David’s life will be held on a later date. Memorial contributions in remembrance of David may be made to the American Red Cross.
David was born February 26, 1956 to the late Walter and Mona (Haney) Bieszak. He graduated from Denby High School in 1974. David worked for Menards in Davison as a Pro and Commercial Sales Account Manager, those who worked with him called him “Big Money Dave”. He married Nora Taylor (Lewis) in Otisville on May 2, 2009. David was a very hard worker and an exceptional craftsman. As soon as he completed a renovation project he would already have a new one started. David also enjoyed gardening, bowling and softball. He was a proud season ticket holder for the Flint Firebirds hockey team and loved watching the games with Nora. Most of all, David was a loving man who cherished spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving are: Wife, Nora; Son, Nicholas (Kylin) Bieszak and Daughter, Emily (Clint) VanDellen; Grandchildren: Evelyn, Caleb and Elizabeth; Step-mother, Carol Bieszak-Nemeck; Step-son, Paul Taylor; 3 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. He was also preceded in death by brother, James Bieszak. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff that took care of David in the CICU at Hurley Medical Center.
