LONGUEUIL, Patricia Anne (Manchester) – of Clio, MI, age 75, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring of 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 353 East Vienna Street, Clio, MI 48420, in Pat’s memory.
Pat was born in Flint, MI on March 7, 1948, daughter of the late Charley Lee and Elizabeth May (Martin) Manchester. She was a graduate of Clio High School Class of 1966. Pat was a cherished member of Bethany United Methodist Church and a beloved presence in the Clio community. Her warm and compassionate spirit touched the lives of many. A skilled and creative soul, Pat brought joy to our lives through the artistry of sewing, crocheting, and knitting. Her hands were not just skilled in crafting beautiful creations, but also in weaving lasting memories for those fortunate enough to receive them. Pat's talents were only surpassed by her generous heart, making her a true artisan of love. A pillar of strength, Pat devoted herself wholeheartedly to the well-being of her family. Her unwavering commitment and boundless love created a home filled with warmth and unwavering support. Pat's legacy as a strong and caring woman will forever resonate in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Beyond her creative pursuits, Pat found true happiness in the company of her children and family. The bonds she forged and the moments shared will remain etched in the tapestry of their lives. As we bid farewell to this remarkable individual, let us remember Pat for the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the enduring impact she leaves behind. In addition to her creative talents, Pat also had a deep love for gardening and cooking, further enriching the lives of those around her. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her, and her memory will be a source of inspiration for generations to come. Pat is survived by her son, Christian Longueuil; 3 siblings, Ted Manchester, Robert (Christine) Manchester and Alma (David) Gay; 3 nieces, Tammy (Jerry) Johnston, Danielle (Leonard) Shimmons and Elizabeth (Jason) Sonnenberg; 4 nephews, Brian (Teresa) Manchester, Scott (Brook) Manchester, Steven (Jodi) Manchester and Michael Manchester; great-niece, Amayia Shimmons; great-nephew, Corbin Shimmons; best friend, Sue Hilgris; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Elizabeth Manchester; son, Erik Longueuil; 2 siblings, Keith Manchester and Kenneth Manchester.
