FRANKS, Imogene (Mansfield) - Age 80, of Fenton, died Sunday, August 22, 2021. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Bishop Jerry F. J. Stoner officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. (A live stream of the service will be available on Imogene's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM and Thursday from 12 PM until the time of the service. Imogene was born May 19, 1941 in Hornersville, MO, the daughter of Ewin and Edna (Lenderman) Mansfield. She was a graduate of Fenton High School. She married Wilburn Francis Franks July 11, 1960 in Arbyrd, MO. She retired from Fenton Convalescent Home in 1995 as a nurse's aide. Imogene enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her husband Wilburn; sons, Mark (Tammy) Franks of Fenton, David (Deborah) Franks of Troy, and Timothy (LeeAnn) Franks of Linden; grandchildren, Maggen (Mike) Green of Fenton, Amanda Calcaterra of Fenton, Alisha (Jeremy) Fore of Acworth, GA, Shannon (London) Hill of Detroit, Nathan Franks of Southfield, and Ryan Franks of Linden; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Dennis Mansfield of Alabama; sister, Shannon Kay Manfield of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Gabrielle Franks; brother, Chester Mansfield; sisters, Dorothy Ellinger, Nona Sheppa, Cindy Salm, and Sue Goodwin. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
